Low voltage Power supply protection and Maintenance:

Constant Power Fluctuations at 11 Senior Management Residences in Accra

Solution:         

We assessed  the complaint before designing a power protection circuit.We ran simulations using circuits in both our workshop  and software systems to ensure implementation will go to plan effectively.

We designed a circuit that included, a surge arrestor with its independent earthing system, a phase monitor, a contactor, and a timer which ensured the whole system worked in tandem.

This  design ensures that at any time there was a voltage spike; 

  • The surge arrestor will correct the over-voltage by re-directing the excess voltage through its earthing system.

Additionally, should there be irregularities in the phases from the power company:

  • The phase monitor will shut  down all power, (this way all equipment is protected and as a result  the generator unit comes on.)
